A West Texas native, Dr. Marcus Whitmore graduated from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1983. He opened his general dental practice in Plano in that same year. Since then, he has taken the forefront in evaluating new dental technologies and techniques, adopting those that will most benefit his patients.
To continually enhance his skills and knowledge, Dr. Whitmore invests countless hours in continuing education. He attended the first postgraduate Continuum of Aesthetic Dentistry held at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1994. Other courses he has taken include adhesive dentistry, implant surgery, aesthetic dentistry, periodontics, and endodontics.
Dr. Whitmore is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.
After hours, Dr. Whitmore enjoys making music as an accomplished saxophonist. He plays with a rowdy group called The Gener8ters, a band of dentists from around the country. Dr. Whitmore plays the only woodwind in the band and has even been known to grind out the vocals on a rock classic here and there. The band entertains at various dental seminars and conventions around the country and is always on the lookout for a new gig.
Each year Dr. Whitmore donates over 80 hours of services to North Dallas Shared Ministries providing general dental services to underprivileged adults.

Dee Dee has more than 18 years of experience in dentistry, with expertise in everything from dental assisting to dental office and business management. Currently, she is in charge of our patient scheduling, financial coordination, and marketing. She also helps with direct patient care. Away from the office, Dee Dee involves herself in leadership training and personal development coaching. She also enjoys shopping, reading, and traveling.

Cheryl has 12+ years experience, and joined our team as a dental assistant ten years ago. She works closely with Dr. Whitmore on all treatment, including restorative and cosmetic procedures, surgery, and Invisalign. Cheryl is NTI- and Pinnacle-trained, as well as radiology, nitrous oxide, and CPR-certified. She attended Lynchburg College and is now a registered dental assistant with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Cheryl loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Greg, and her children, Alexi, Jack, and Hayden.

Rachel has been a periodontal therapist and registered
dental hygienist for over 20 years. With magnification and utilizing laser and
ultrasonic technology she has state of the art clinical skills while keeping patients
comfortable. The medical community is helping get out the information about how
dangerous mouth bacteria is for the total body.
Also how bacteria in the mouth contribute to heart disease, diabetes
(type 2), risk of stroke, and low birth weight. Originally from St. Louis, she is a group
fitness junkie and shows patients what healthy is like by living as an example.
Janet began her career in the dental field in her early years as her father and grandfather were dentists. She was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Plano in 2005 with her husband and teenage sons. After 25+ years as a professional in the dental field, she loves the joy and health patients experience everyday.
