Many people assume that when they go to a dentist for dental work on their front teeth, that they will end up with a beautiful smile. Sadly, many find out too late that while most dentists are very good at repairing teeth, very few are artistic enough to create a dazzling smile. But not Dr. Whitmore. When you have a smile makeover in our office, the first thing we'll do is take a photograph of you and do a computerized mock-up of the smile you want, similar to what you see on the right. This will be created according to the smile design that most enhances your face and matches your preferences and the personality you wish to project. This photo mock-up will guide all our work.
Then, before your case is ever sent to the laboratory for your permanent new smile, we create what we call a provisional smile in a temporary material. You will wear this provisional smile for a week. Usually, you will come back and tell us you love your new smile, and we'll go ahead and make the permanent teeth to match. But in those few instances where you don't love it, we will alter the provisionals until you do. That is our beautiful smile guarantee.
Then, we send your case to our master ceramist, who makes your permanent teeth to match the provisionals. When it comes back, you will know how it looks, and there will be no surprises.
