I have my two front teeth bonded and this was done about 12 years ago. The bonding needs to be replaced but my budget is tight right now. I understand that bonding doesn’t change colour with bleaching but can I at least bleach the bonding back to its original color? Will white strips change the color?

Tooth bleaching won’t get your dental bonding whiter – it will make your bonding look worse. This is because it will whiten your natural teeth but won’t affect the color for the bonding so you’ll be left with a stark contrast with your natural and bonded teeth.
You may be able to make the bonding look a little better with some polishing. The polishing may work if the bonding has external stains. It’s best to see a cosmetic dentist for this procedure. If the stains are internal, it will be difficult to make any positive changes.
Since you mention your budget is tight, I would wait until you have the money to invest in this procedure. You don’t want to look for deals when it comes to dental bonding. It takes a certain amount of expertise and artistic talent to perfect the look of bonded teeth so be sure you take your time to find an experienced cosmetic dentist.
