My friend and I were talking about my teeth because I told them two of my bottom teeth are loose. They mentioned I might have gum disease. I don’t have dental insurance, so I haven’t been able to go to the dentist’s office to get it either confirmed or worked on. I was wondering if you knew of any home solutions to gum disease.

Gum disease is very serious. If your bottom teeth are already loose, then there is no way to save them. I’m afraid that other teeth won’t be far behind. I strongly advice you take care of this. You don’t have to have dental insurance. It is not extremely expensive to have your teeth cleaned. It will certainly be much cheaper than having to get fake teeth put in. You can either explain to a dentist your financial situation and see if he’ll let you pay it out, or if you live near a dental school they usually do cleanings very inexpensively. One dental school I know in Little Rock only charges $25.00 to have your teeth cleaned.
There are no home remedies to repair gum disease. Though, good oral hygiene is a MUST. Brush at least twice a day and make sure you floss.
