Gum Disease Treatment

Our caring and skilled hygienist will gently probe your gums, looking for signs of infection and disease. She will instruct you in proper homecare techniques to be sure your flossing and brushing are up to speed. Then, to remove plaque, food particles, and bacteria, she will carefully scrape teeth surfaces and smooth rough roots. If necessary, she may irrigate the gums or apply Arestin, a topical antibiotic, to the diseased area.
