Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy)
Have you procrastinated dental treatment for fear you’ll need a root canal? This fear is common, but it need not be. Dr. Whitmore offers a variety of pain relieving and anxiety reducing measures so that you can get the treatment you need and deserve without discomfort.
In fact, many patients find themselves so comfortable during their root canal that they drift off to sleep. Once you’ve settled into our massage chairs with some soothing music, Dr. Whitmore will make sure you are completely relaxed and comfortable. If you need more than nitrous oxide and a local anesthetic, just tell him. He can offer sleep dentistry with oral conscious sedation.
Once certain of your comfort, Dr. Whitmore will simply clean out the diseased canal and fill it with a biologically inert substance.
